History of Faith
October 18, 2009
Group of 75 meet in basement of St. Gabriel's Hospital for worship. Following worship, an organizational meeting was held to discuss starting a new congregation affiliated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).
November 2009
Over 100 people gather for worship with communion at St. Francis Hall on the campus of the Franciscan Sisters in Little Falls. The church decides on the name Faith Lutheran and is officially established. Pastor Nate Bjorge installed by Pastor James Bjorge as the first called and ordained minister of Faith Lutheran.
2010
Continued growth, leads us to worship in the Performing Arts Center at Lindbergh Elementary School and then across the parking lot in the Commons of the Little Falls Middle School.
Purchased land for our future church building.
2013
Construction begins on our church building. Summer of 2013, the church gathers to write prayers, scriptures, and blessings on the framework of the building.
February 2014
We hold our first worship service in our new building.
2019
Faith Lutheran introduces a new mission statement: As children of God, we are called to love, glorify, and submit to the living Christ, ministering to others by the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
